Please find below the terms and conditions for Internet Reservations and the general Sales terms and conditions for Budapest Best Apartments.

Rates

Rates quoted in HUF (Hungarian Forints) and in EURO -- including taxes and VAT -- are valid for a maximum of 2 people per apartment. You must book an additional bed for any additional guests.

Reservation and payment information

You can make a reservation at BudapestNow as follows:

- Check the availability of the apartment you would like to stay in by clicking on the "Check Availability" button on the main page.
- Select the apartment you would like and click on "Reservation."
- Fill out the reservation form in its entirety with valid and up-to-date information.

Payments and Guarantees

Your credit card information is only required to guarantee your reservation. In order to confirm the card's validity, the cost of one night's stay will be loaded onto your bank account. This is not a deduction or a payment; it is only a pre-loading. We will charge your credit card only in case of no-show or if you cancel after the deadline. As soon as you arrive and check in, this pre-loading will be cancelled.

You will be asked to pay in cash for your accommodation upon check in. If you would like to pay by credit card, please inform us in advance.

Be assured that we take our responsibility for your credit card information very seriously. We use industry-standard technology (http://www.godaddy.com/) to encrypt your credit card details. Therefore we can guarantee that every transaction is 100% safe.

Privacy Policy

The information we request on our reservation form is used only to provide you with professional service. Under no circumstances do we distribute customer information to outside parties (the only exception being in the unlikely event that the law obliges disclosure).
Your contact data is used to make the internet reservation. This data will be used to identify you upon arrival and to contact you in the extremely unlikely case of changes to your reservation.
We would again like to stress that, in accordance with European personal data protection laws, we observe strict security procedures in order to prevent misuse of, or unauthorized access to, personal data.

Cancellation policy

All cancellations must be made in writing. The date BBA receives notification of the cancellation will be deemed to be the date of cancellation. If you cancel later than the following deadlines or you do not show up, the first night's stay will be charged to your credit card.

► Cancellation more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival time ► no charge
► Cancellation less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival time ► 100% of the first night's price will be charged



Occupancy

The number of persons resident in the apartment shall not exceed the number agreed upon at the time of booking.

Extra bed

The additional bed can be used under the age of 14.

Children

Children up to 12 years of age may stay free of charge if sharing the room with their parents.

Pets

Pets are not permitted in any of our apartments.

No-smoking policy

Due to the risk of fire, smoking is strictly prohibited in the apartments. Furthermore, it is difficult and expensive to remove tobacco odors which non-smokers find offensive. Smoking is permitted on the balcony and in the corridor.

Security

It is the guest's responsibility to ensure that all windows and external doors are securely closed and locked whenever the apartment is unattended, even for short periods. Guests will be held liable for any losses due to unauthorized entry if these precautions have not been observed.

Keys

One set of keys will be given to guests at the time of arrival. Failure to return the keys, irrespective of the reason, will result in the locks having to be replaced for security reasons. Because replacement of the locks will necessitate the purchase of a number of new sets of keys, the cost of these changes will be charged to the guests.

Anti-social behavior

If guests persistently behave in such a manner as to cause a nuisance to other residents, or indulge in drug-taking, excessive drinking or other anti-social behavior, those persons will be expelled from the property. Any other action deemed appropriate will also be taken. Should this occur, no compensation or refund will be paid.

Local rules and conditions

It should be noted that the apartments are located within a community which includes permanent residents. Guests shall not cause a nuisance to other residents, and shall at all times observe the community rules as listed within or immediately outside the apartment and within the grounds where applicable. Music or loud noise is not permitted between 11pm and 7am.

Public car park

There is a public parking lot near the premises of BBA. However, BBA takes no responsibility for the safety of any vehicles parked in said lot nor those parked anywhere else. Furthermore, BBA takes no responsibility for towed vehicles or vehicles that are tire-clamped by the city parking authorities due to failure to pay parking fees or for any other reason.
